Admission to Sogang University KLEC Program.

       Since I wouldn't exactly call my self a great writer.. bare with me as I write things that might be sometimes in comprehensive :(

-Ahem-

        So as the title states, I was recently admitted in to the Sogang University KLEC program!! for those of you who doesn't know, Sogang is a jesuit university in South Korea,  located in Seoul !!!l (-woo!! round of applause-)  So for the next year or so, I will be in Seoul exploring Korea and learning some hardcore Korean.

       Sogang's Korean Language Education Center(KLEC), is one of the best known programs in korea for language studies (or so google tells me.. hmmm....). They are well known for conversational speaking, compared to the other ones which are more grammar/workbook focused. Couple of the big reasons I actually decided  on Sogang instead of Yonsei or SNU was because :

      -and the list of random reasoning ensues...-

1) Out of all the programs I messaged they answered the fastest and correctly.

2) They focus on conversational speaking, which was very useful.

3) They have a buddy program,(where you can pare up with their university Korean students for languages help)

4) Their website has AN ABUNDANCE of great information.

  By now you're probably thinking.. MAN, JUST GET TO THE ADMISSION STEPS ALREADY! D:<

  Haha ;] welllll.... HERE IT COMES :

The admissions process was fairly easy, I went on their site :

Now the next step was filling out the application, so I....

I FILLED EVERYTHING OUT. :D

[they asked me to pick a date for the placement test,

so you can pick -in person- or -by phone-]

After thats all done, I E-mail Sogang KLEC (ckss@sogang.ac.kr) a copy of my passport and

a copy of my school transcript.

added with : -a couple days of anxious waiting-

then once I was accepted, they will sent me their bank account information so that I can wire the school fees to them.

A couple days later you will get I got my admissions form etc etc...

But heres the kicker... on my admissions form,

country of nationality was put as :<일본> which is JAPAN.

BUT IM NOT JAPANESE!!! D:<<<< SOGANG SAY WHAAAATT?

     So THENN I quickly wrote them an email telling them of this TRAGEDY that has just occurred. LUCKILY, they wrote back by the time I woke up next morning... tell me how sorry they are and that they are sending another one right away... :)

let me ONCE AGAIN mention how much I love their fast responding. ~melts~
